CAEC and External Testing

Writing your CAEC

The Canadian Adult Education Credential (CAEC) is for adults who do not have a high school diploma or GED®. NSCC Testing Centres provide supervision for community members interested in writing the CAEC test.

Visit the Nova Scotian CAEC website for details on who is eligible to receive free CAEC testing, how to request accommodations should you have a documented disability, and a list of community learning organizations.

Register and book your CAEC

Review the CAEC Candidate Guidelines (PDF) then visit the CAEC login page to register, access the schedule and book your test.

If you have questions or need more information, contact
