School of Trades and Transportation programs
The School of Trades and Transportation offers programs that prepare students for careers in the building and manufacturing trades, the marine sector and transportation trades. All programs are designed to meet and exceed provincial and national occupational standards and may be accredited by accrediting agencies, such as Transport Canada.
We also offer continuing education opportunities, and we work with industry and businesses to develop customized offerings that meet their unique needs.
Our faculty come from industry, bringing with them career success from a variety of disciplines and organizations.
Our school specializes in:
- Building and manufacturing
Our building and manufacturing students get the skills to work in Carpentry, Precision Machining, Welding, Occupational Health and Safety and other trades. View building and manufacturing programs.
- Marine
Students interested in seafaring jobs or the fisheries are trained to launch careers in Marine Engineering Technology, Marine Navigation Technology or other vessel-based roles. View marine programs or view marine continuing education courses.
- Transportation

Apprenticeship opportunities
