School of Access, Education and Language
School of Access, Education and Language programs
The School of Access, Education and Language delivers programs at campuses across the province and online. Many of our programs are designed to meet our students where they are so they can get the education they need to start their future.
We also work with community partners to develop customized offerings that meet their unique needs. For example, we’ve partnered with Mi’kmaq communities to co-develop culturally specific early childhood education programming.
Our faculty and staff are experts in their field and experienced in supporting all learners, including adults returning to school or high school graduates entering college for the first time.
Our school specializes in:
- Academic upgrading and skills development
Students can earn their high school diploma, get the academic credits needed to pursue a post-secondary credential or develop life and career skills to prepare for their future. View academic updating and skills development programs. - Language and cultural studies
We offer English as an additional language, American Sign Language studies and more. View language and cultural studies programs. - Early Childhood Education
We train people to care for and educate young children. Learn about our Early Childhood Education program.
