Rendan Fabricators Ltd., a division of AGF Rebar Inc., is a leader in the supply and installation of reinforcing steel is specialized in Nova Scotia. We have worked on many high-end projects like water treatment plants, hospitals, windfarms, apartment buildings and more. We are currently looking for an accounting clerk to join our team in Dartmouth, NS.
Reporting to the Controller, the accounting clerk, is responsible for the accounts payable of the division as well as entering and validating the hours for administrative, shop and field employees.

Role and responsibilities:
Accounts Payable – enter invoices into two systems, send out invoices to customers, complete packages by customer (COI, Statutory declaration, etc)
Accounts Receivables – Sending customer statements, credit applications
Enter payroll hours and upload them in the system (every Monday)
Enter government Remittances with regards to payroll
Generate payroll reports - updating banked time, employee purchases
Update union information and rates for employees in the system
Assist Controller with a different type of requests (Journal entry, customer requests, filing, etc)
Other administrative tasks
3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role;
Professional diploma in accounting;
Intermediate Excel skills (pivot table);
Ability to work on multiple tasks;
Team player;
High level of organization;
Good communication skills;
