Skills:
- Experience with 5 axis CNC machines or willingness to train will be considered an asset
- Familiar with ISO 9001, quality standards and WHIMIS training
- Understanding of basic machine tooling and operation principles
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments to evaluate parts dimensions
-Good communication skills along with strong interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- program and operate CNC milling machines to perform tasks within established time limits and ISO quality standards.
- Work with Mastercam and ERP manufacturing software
- Complete electronic inspection reports
- Participate in continuous improvement activities.
- Understand and follow ISO quality standards, standards of practice, and specification.
- Complete required training and work as assigned
- Maintain equipment and work area in an orderly condition
- Work safely around tools and equipment, wear personal protective equipment.
- Operate various types of hand tools (such as drills, grinders, saws, etc.) and other machine tools (such as lathes)
- Perform duties as assigned by Management
