Vergo seeks a student to engage with safety or HR managers from five local companies in a specific industry sector to gather insights on roles, processes for addressing ergonomic and back injuries, challenges, past solutions, potential outcomes, and satisfaction with current safety tracking tools.
Student receives a $825 honorarium for completing their placement through Experience Ventures program. Student studying Health and Safety, Human Resources, Occupational Health, or Ergonomics. They should have an interest in workplace wellness, injury prevention, and safety technologies, with involvement in professional associations like CSSE. A focus on global occupational safety issues is also preferred.
Eligibility: Open to domestic undergraduate and college students enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary institution.
