Aquaculture Management

Overview
This course is designed for individuals with existing knowledge of aquaculture looking to improve their proficiency in areas such as sustainable practices, interpersonal collaboration, implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), report maintenance and farm management. In this course, you learn to:
- Explain sustainable aquaculture practices that support economic, social, cultural, and environmental stewardship.
- Apply effective interpersonal management practices for the aquaculture industry consistent with industry best practices.
- Apply SOPs found within the aquaculture industry.
- Update reports that support analysis, problem solving and decision making in an aquaculture operation.
- Describe how an ocean or land-based Farm Management Plan (FMP) will meet minimum regulations within the aquaculture industry.

Admission requirements
Applicants must be Canadian citizens, permanent residents or have been granted refugee status in Canada ages 18+.
