Recircle is dedicated to reducing plastic waste by transforming recycling practices to minimize impact. The student will conduct interviews with 20 potential customers to identify pain points in plastic recycling. They will assess current solutions and gather feedback on what customers would pay for improved methods, helping refine Recircle’s strategy to reduce plastic waste.
Student receives a $825 honorarium for completing their placement through Experience Ventures program.

Eligibility: Open to domestic undergraduate and college students enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary institution.The ideal student has strong communication skills for conducting interviews, especially around uncomfortable topics, and is detail-oriented in note-taking and data management (Excel/Word). Experience with survey design and recording interviews is preferred. A background in environmental studies, waste management, or business strategy is a plus.
