Remote Fusion Project Cooridinator/Estimator

About the Position

Remote Fusion Project Coordinator & Estimator is a dual-role position that combines project management expertise with accurate estimating skills to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction. The successful candidate will oversee residential roofing projects from initial estimate to completion, maintain quality standards, and manage client relationships. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Project coordinator overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of residential roofing projects.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
• Monitor progress on-site, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Resolve any issues or delays promptly and effectively.
• Maintain detailed project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
  

Estimating:

• Conduct site assessments and roof inspections to gather accurate measurements and project details.
• Prepare detailed and competitive project estimates, including labour, materials, and other costs for metal, rubber, and laminated shingle reroof and new construction projects.
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to obtain pricing and ensure accurate material selection.
• Present estimates and proposals to clients, explaining scope, costs, and project timeline.
  

Client Relationship Management:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates and addressing inquiries or concerns.
• Build strong, trust-based relationships to foster repeat business and referrals.
• Provide excellent customer service throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in Construction required.
• Passionate about learning niche residential roofing project management and estimating.
• Excitement of roofing materials, techniques, and industry standards.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
• Keen eye for details.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Home Office Workspace with No Distractions during work hours.
• Interested in exploring a long-term employment position.
  
• Must be a Canadian Citizen.

Co-op Position Eligibility Criteria: 

To be considered for this co-op position, applicants must meet the following criteria: 

1. Enrollment Status: Must be a current NSCC student in good academic standing and returning to your program for classes in the Fall. Graduating students are not eligible for co-op.  

2. Academic Continuity:?Must be returning to your current program for full-time study in the Fall Term. 

3. Program Requirement:?Must be enrolled in an eligible program?that has a co-op course. See eligible programs here: https://www.nscc.ca/programs-and-courses/learning-experience/hands-on-learning/work-experience/co-op-programs.asp 

4. International Students Permit Requirement: International students must possess a valid co-op work permit from the Government of Canada with no restrictions that would prevent them from engaging in the described co-op work. 

5. Tuition Requirement: The co-op course is an elective first-year course in your program that occurs in the Spring/Summer semester. There is a tuition fee for this course. 

6. Approval Requirement: All co-op experiences must be approved by your faculty or Academic Chair and sent to workexperience@nscc.ca?in order to receive credit towards your NSCC credential. Please check in with your Faculty Advisor before accepting any job offer.
