You’ll take charge of uploading and managing vital new business, endorsement, and cancellation information within insurance company systems. Your contributions will play a key role in ensuring client and policy data remain precise, up-to-date, and compliant with industry standards. Key Responsibilities: 

  • Accurately upload new business, endorsement, and cancellation information into insurance carrier portals and systems. 
  • Verify the completeness and accuracy of submitted data before entry. 
  • Correct discrepancies or errors identified during audits or reviews. 
  • Liaise with brokers, underwriters, and insurers to resolve discrepancies or obtain missing information. 
  • Provide updates to internal teams on the status of submissions and processing.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Skills: 

  • Experience in the insurance industry would be an asset, preferably with a brokerage. 
  • Proficiency with insurance company portals and systems (e.g., Intact, Aviva, Travelers, etc.) or the ability to quickly adapt to and master new technologies. 
  • Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in data entry. 
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Knowledge of Canadian insurance products, processes, and regulations would be an asset.  

Education: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. 
  • Post-secondary education in business, insurance, or a related field would be an asset, but is not required.
