GEMTEC currently has an opening for a Civil Technician in our Dartmouth office location for the Summer 2025 COOP Term (May-August 2025). The successful candidate will have experience or interest in general construction activities, materials testing and inspection services.

Co-op Position Eligibility Criteria: To be considered for this co-op position, applicants must meet the following criteria: Enrollment Status: Must be a current NSCC student in good academic standing and returning to your program for classes in the Fall. Graduating students are not eligible for co-op. Academic Continuity:?Must be returning to your current program for full-time study in the Fall 2025 Term. Program Requirement:?Must be enrolled in an eligible program?that has a co-op course. Tuition Requirement: The co-op course is an elective first-year course in your program that occurs in the Spring/Summer semester. There is a tuition fee for this course. Approval Requirement: All co-op experiences must be approved by your faculty or Academic Chair and sent to workexperience@nscc.ca?in order to receive credit towards your NSCC credential.
