Blue Bronna Wilderness Camp exists to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ in a wilderness setting. We are located southwest of Longview, Alberta Canada in the Rocky Mountains, 90 minutes southwest of Calgary.
We're a hands-on camp: hands-on the horses, hands-on camping and hands-on the word of God.
We have two facilities: Willow Creek, which is our resident camp in the foothills, and Coat Creek, which is in the mountains.
Programs include:
We are a small camp with 35 campers per session and 20 staff. Staff rotate between the two sites and have a hand in all that we do. Even though they may be hired as a Counselor or Wrangler, they will be called upon to help in other areas of the camp.
Activities include: horseback riding, pack trips, rock climbing, canoeing, mountain hiking, archery, games, God Talks, and fun!
Staff Highlights
“The wilderness offers adventure nowhere else can, which I think makes BBWC so different and special from other outdoor camps. We tend to go beyond what people expect when they think about trail rides, canoeing, and rock climbing.”
“Imagine standing on the top of a mountain in the back country on a horse, and looking out in all directions over a vast landscape of mountains, sky and seeing the prairies.”
