About the Position

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential electrical work and possess a strong understanding of electrical systems, including low voltage applications. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various settings, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Valid Journeyperson Electrician license/certification is a must

Duties

• Upgrading electrical panels, pony panels, etc.
• Heat pump installation and hookup.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in industrial settings.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various electrical tasks.
• Work with low voltage systems as required, ensuring all installations meet industry standards.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently and safely.
• Adhere to all safety protocols while working on electrical installations and repairs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Flexible language requirement: French not required

Schedule: Monday to Friday - Weekends as needed

Qualifications

Requirements

• Proven experience as an electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems.
• Familiarity with both hand tools and power tools used in the electrical trade.
• Knowledge of heat pump installations is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
• First-aid is considered an asset.
