As an Engineering Student, you will work under the direction of the Inspections Coordinator and work closely with the Operations Technologists team. In your role, you can expect to spend your time collecting, producing, and retrieving record information associated with Water, Wastewater and Stormwater Service Connections for commercial construction projects. Record information includes Halifax Water databases and field notes. Record information is vital to both the Utility and our customers. On commercial construction projects, you will be assisting the Inspections Coordinator with water and wastewater system testing and data collection. You and the consultant will be witnessing and approving the contractor’s testing process and results.
