CNC Machinist

About the Position

• Program and operate CNC milling machines or lathes to perform tasks within established time limits and ISO quality standards
• Work with Mastercam and ERP manufacturing software
• Complete electronic inspection reports
• Participate in continuous improvement activities
• Understand and follow ISO quality standards, standards-of-practice, and specifications
• Complete required training and work as assigned
• Maintain equipment and work are in an orderly condition
• Work safely around tools and equipment, wear personal protective equipment PPE
• Operate various types of hand tools (such s drills, grinders, saws, etc) and other machine tools such as lathes.
• Perform duties as assigned by Management
• Good communication skills along with strong interpersonal skills
• Controlled Goods Directorate requires criminal background check

Qualifications

• NSCC 2 year Machinist Diploma
• 2 - 3 years experience
• Must live within the HRM or within close proximity
