Job Description:Reporting to the Payroll and Benefits Manager, the Payroll Coordinator is an integral member of the Human Resources team and will be directly responsible for supporting the daily HR and payroll operations of Horizon Maritime Services and its group of companies. Duties shall include data entry, report generation & analytics, file management, and preparing HR correspondence. The Coordinator will be responsible for timely responses to payroll and benefits inquiries from employees, management and external parties. Additional responsibilities shall include basic accounting tasks such as journal entry preparation and reconciliations. The Payroll Coordinator will also participate in departmental projects and system and policy development.
