About the Position

Main duties include:

  • Receiving orders from servers and preparing food according to customer preference.
  • Ensuring a high standard of cleanliness, order and consistency
  • Making adjustments to accommodate clients with specific diet and health concerns
  • Setting up workstation
  • Rotating stock, checking dates.
  • Cleaning kitchen, counters, grills, stove tops, floors, etc.
  • Checking fridge and freezer temperatures
  • Working as part of a team to store items when delivery truck arrives
  • Complying with safety standards
  • Assist with services in take-out train, event tent and brewery as needed
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications

Qualities we are looking for:

  • Previous cooking experience is an asset, but not necessary as training will be provided
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • The ability to work under stress in a fast-paced environment
  • The willingness to work long hours, weekends and holidays
  • People with a positive attitude who are helpful and encouraging to their colleagues
