We are currently looking for a full-time Survey Crew Chief (Geomatics Technician) to join our team in Sarnia.

We are experts in the Geomatics industry. We have been in the industry for over 60 years with survey records dating back to the late 1800’s. We specialize in high precision geodetic surveys, tunnel surveys, engineering surveys, hydrographic surveys, legal surveys, and remote sensing services.

We are located in Sarnia, Ontario. Sarnia is a beautiful mid-size, border city in Southwestern Ontario, located on the beautiful Lake Huron. Sania has the advantage of having an affordable cost of living while still being easily accessible to major cities.
Key Responsibilities
• Complete various legal and construction surveys.
• Interpret plans with respect to survey assignments.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, other team members, clients and with the public.
• Perform all health and safety duties as identified in the company’s safety procedures.
Qualifications
• Surveying Technologist/Technician diploma or previous survey experience.
• Interest in construction and legal surveying.
• Knowledgeable with surveying equipment such as GNSS and total stations.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
