About the Position

McNally Construction Inc. is currently seeking an entry-level engineering graduate for a Project Technician position. While working on our Irving Shipyard Project in Halifax, Nova Scotia, the primary responsibility for this position is to collaborate with and support the project engineering staff. This may include engineering temporary works, AutoCAD drafting, assisting project surveyors, preparing daily and weekly reports, project changes, subcontractor management, scheduling, submittals, and materials procurement.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering required (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental or Construction Management disciplines considered) or Diploma in similar discipline is accepted
Ability to prioritize and handle deadlines
Extensive Knowledge of Microsoft Office; AutoCAD and Primavera P6 scheduling program is a plus
Ability to accurately read contract drawings
Previous internship or experience in a construction setting is a plus
A valid driver's license is required for this position
