About the Position

Join our team as a Customer Advisor for a leading energy efficiency company dedicated to helping homeowners reduce energy consumption and lower their energy costs. In this role, you will visit customers' homes to replace various products, such as light bulbs, thermostats, and faucets, with eco-friendly alternatives. We are looking for a personable and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about sustainability and enjoys hands-on work.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct home visits to assess current energy usage and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Replace outdated products with energy-efficient alternatives, including light bulbs, thermostats, and water-saving fixtures.
  • Educate homeowners on the benefits of energy efficiency and provide tips on how to further reduce energy consumption.
  • Ensure all installations are performed safely and to the highest standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of products installed and services provided.
  • Answer customer inquiries and address any concerns related to energy efficiency products and practices.
  • Promote additional services and products offered by the company to enhance overall energy savings for homeowners.
  • Collaborate with the team to schedule appointments and manage service routes effectively.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in energy efficiency or a related field is a plus.
  • Experience in customer service, home maintenance, or a related field preferred.
  • Basic understanding of energy efficiency principles and eco-friendly products.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with homeowners.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and installing various products.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for traveling to customer homes.
  • Clean background check will be required.
