Who You Are:

• As a Property Manager Intern, you will:
• Assist the lead on managing a portfolio of up to 60 units.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for third-party contractors and tenants.
• Market and show vacant units to prospective tenants.Contribute to the management and expansion of our property portfolio.
• Provide creative solutions to operational challenges.
• Exhibit a high degree of personal responsibility and take initiative on projects.

Your Responsibilities:

• Attract tenants by advertising vacancies and showing units.
• Negotiate leases, administer applications, conduct background checks, and collect security deposits.
• Maintain properties by resolving tenant complaints, enforcing occupancy rules, inspecting units, completing repairs, planning renovations, and contracting landscaping and snow removal services.
• Supervise building maintenance and manage short-term rentals.
• Respond to emergencies to ensure property security

Location:

TreePad manages properties across HRM, Truro, Antigonish, and the South Shore (Western Head).
