Position Overview

Job Duties

  • Provide groundwork support for trimming operations.
  • Operate chainsaws and chippers while efficiently loading brush materials.
  • Support Crew Leader with site setup, debris removal, and equipment maintenance.
  • Maintain job sites through raking and leaf blowing.
  • Safely rig down tree limbs.
  • Abide by Davey and industry safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

 

  • Valid provincial driver’s license. Licensed to drive a 5-ton vehicle and air brake endorsement considered an asset.
  • Willingness to work towards becoming a certified arborist.
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.
  • Previous landscape/horticulture experience considered an asset.
  • Team player with a commitment to safety and a drive for personal growth and development.
