About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of various heavy equipment used in construction and industrial settings.

Responsibilities:

Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical issues on heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, and other machinery
Perform routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication of parts
Use schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot and repair equipment
Operate power tools and welding equipment to complete repairs
Conduct safety checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding repair status

Prior experience as a mechanic, preferably in heavy equipment or automotive repair
Proficiency in using power tools and welding equipment
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of heavy equipment operations
Familiarity with reading schematics and technical manuals
