About the Position

We are currently seeking a new Apprentice AME S to join our growing team.

Heliproducts Industries is a Transport Canada, FAA 135 MIP and EASA Part 145 approved Aircraft Maintenance Organization (AMO) specializing in helicopter maintenance, modification, sales, support, and leasing worldwide. We are located at the Pitt Meadows Airport (CYPK).

Apprentice AMEs are responsible to supervising ACA Holders for the performance of work, including tool selection, safe shop practices and adherence to Company policies and procedures. Their duties consist of but are not limited to:

Performance of installations, inspections, calibrations, tests, modifications, overhaul and repairs to aeronautical products assigned to them,

To report current and anticipated difficulties in the performance of assigned work to their supervising ACA Holder(s) or Director of Maintenance,

Ensuring that procedural and general workplace safety precautions are being observed, and

Any other duties as may be assigned by the Director of Maintenance.

Qualifications

  • Completion of Transport Canada approved Aircraft Maintenance S program
  • Must have own basic mechanics toolbox & tools
  • Ability to take initiative, take direction and learn quickly
  • Mechanically inclined, ability to work with your hands
  • Computer knowledge
  • Strong English verbal and written communication skills
  • Physically fit, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, as well as climb, kneel, and work frequently in tight spaces.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
