Truro Campus summer housing and conference rental
During the academic off-season, Truro Campus offers housing rooms, classrooms, conference rooms and a gymnasium for rent at reasonable rates.
Truro Campus is located within walking distance to downtown Truro and can house nearly 110 occupants in a traditional, dormitory-style facility at Davis Hall.
Who can book?
Campus housing rooms are available to:
- NSCC employees and students
- Non-employees who are booking for a conference or other educational event
- Those looking to book a large block of rooms
Accommodations
Davis Hall received extensive renovations during the 2020-21 academic year. All rooms and washrooms have been upgraded and updated.
Amenities, features and services
- Capacity: 99 rooms (approximately 115 beds) in a traditional, dormitory style building.
- Laundry: Washers and dryers are available on all floors.
- Common space: Each floor has a shared lounge area.
- Accessibility: Davis Hall has numerous barrier free spaces and is equipped with an elevator.
- Complimentary Wi-Fi.
- Onsite parking.
- Shared private washrooms.
- Dining is available through Chartwells.
Room types
- Single: Single rooms are equipped with 1 bed and a closet (Please note: there are only 15 single rooms total).
- Super single: Super single rooms can be modified double rooms with 1 bed and 2 closets or traditional double rooms with only 1 occupant.
- Double: Double rooms are equipped with 2 beds. They include a desk with 3 drawers, a desk chair and a closet for each occupant.
