During the academic off-season, Strait Area Campus offers housing rooms, classrooms, conference rooms and a presentation theatre for rent at reasonable rates.
Who can book campus housing rooms?
Campus housing rooms are available to:
- NSCC employees and students
- non-employees who are booking for a conference or other educational event
- those looking to book a large block of rooms

- Capacity: 46 bedrooms available in 1-bedroom and 3-bedroom shared suite style
- Laundry: Washers and dryers are available on the third floor
- Complimentary Wi-Fi
- Shared private washrooms
- Onsite parking
- No food services are available on-campus
Room types
- 1-bedroom suite with full washroom: twin-size bed (extra-long); bedside table; dresser and wardrobe; desk; desk chair; comfy chair; flat-screen TV; small culinary space (top freezer refrigerator, induction stovetop, pots/pans, over-range microwave). Please note there are only two 1-bedroom suites available.
- 3-bedroom suite with 2 washrooms (one with shower): private bedrooms; twin-sized beds (extra-long), bedside tables, dressers, and wardrobes; desks, desk chairs, comfy chairs; shared common space with flat-screen TV; shared culinary area (top freezer refrigerator, induction stovetop, pots/pans, over-range microwave).
