Overdues and fines

NSCC Libraries no longer charge late fees on most materials. You are responsible for items checked out on your library account and will receive courtesy reminders when your items are almost due. For the benefit of all borrowers, please return your library materials on time. Thank you!

Library account suspension

When your library account exceeds $20.00 in replacement charges or fines from other Novanet Libraries, you will not be able to borrow materials from any Novanet or NSCC Library.  Outstanding library charges may result in your credentials being withheld. Contact your Campus Library for more information. 

Unreturned, lost or damaged library materials 

If a library item is not returned, or is lost or damaged beyond repair, replacement charges are applied to your library account. The charge is the current replacement value of the library item. If the library item belongs to another Novanet or Canadian library, the replacement policy of that institution applies.
