Visits to prestigious firms like Ernst & Young, KPMG, CITCO, Butterfield Group, and the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority provided invaluable insights into the operational and regulatory aspects of the hedge fund industry. These interactions not only broadened my technical knowledge but also honed my analytical and networking skills, which are essential for success in the financial sector.
One of the most striking aspects of this experience was observing the similarities and differences between the Cayman Islands and Nova Scotia.
