Diana Hakim's Story
Journeying to Croatia for a four-week Summer School was truly an amazing experience. I explored the amazing cities like Zagreb, Zadar, Spilt, and Dubrovnik, along with the serene island of Pecko.
During my time in Cyber Security studies, I deeply immersed myself in penetration testing, refining my skills to protect against cyber threats using tools such as Wireshark, Metasploit, and Kali Linux. This valuable experience highlighted the significance of Cyber Security, as it shed light on the critical aspects that developers can occasionally overlook.
Beyond the classroom, this journey gifted me with invaluable life skills. Making friends from around the globe and forming connections with locals emphasized the power of networking. Through Algebra University College, I even explored the possibility of pursuing a three-year Software Engineering degree, a thought that excites me greatly. Without the guidance and support of Morana Erdelja, I would have had no idea where to start, and her assistance has been instrumental in shaping my aspirations for the future.
I extend my heartfelt gratitude to NSCC International and Mihaela Harambašić, Algebra's International School Coordinator, for making this incredible journey possible.
