Brody Whynott's Story
We all had certain days to blog on this Greece trip. I was fortunate enough to have my blog during the 10-hour boat tour which was my second favorite activity we did in Greece to the hike. We got up and left the air BNB. I felt quite rushed but I would rather that then wasting time. We went to the top of Santorini. The views and wind were great. I was falling asleep when we got there then I had two coffees that woke me up. We were all chilling out in the sun while one of our classmates was sleeping on the seating inside with a pillow and blanket for the first 2 or so hours we were on the boat. At 11:25 we arrived at the first island. I was going to go on the bicycle tour but I struggle to ride a bike, so I did not want to hold anyone back. I loved the freedom of the 3 islands we went to. This first one, I walked around exploring, eating ice cream, then I ran back to the boat. It felt like I just got out the pool from how wet my body was from sweat. We then stopped for a bit and everyone was enjoying their time swimming while I was drinking beer and recording videos. I really enjoyed the lunch we had, the chicken and meat were delicious. I never drink alcohol so it did not take much for me to get a little buzz going. I walked around the second island by myself. I went to the museum and the temple which was great as I wanted to hit at least one museum while we were there. Not too long later we went to the beach. I tried to swim a bit and was getting better at it. The water was cold and it felt really nice. Sometime has passed and we were chilling on the boat, I thought that the crew members doing the titanic thing was random but I enjoyed it. I thought that the crew was great as they were entertaining and good host. The last 2 hours back to Athens was the best part, watching the views while on a boat, with music going, sipping wine is definitely the ideal life. This second boat tour was longer but felt shorter than the first, the time flew by fast. Overall, I loved the experience and made lifetime memories, not only on this day but the whole trip.
