Hayden Chetwynd's Story
I have a lot of experience with traveling, but Grenada was a unique experience. I have never engaged in the country as much as I have when I came to Grenada. I felt like I experienced the true Grenada by meeting Grenadians, learning about the locals, their traditions and culture. The past two weeks absolutely flew by, and it is so sad to think we will be leaving in a few days. It has been amazing connecting with TAMCC students and faculty, learning about them, and their country. My favorite thing we did was underwater sculpture park. I really loved going on the boat and seeing Grenada from a different perspective. I have learned many things, a few of them being networking skills, learning how to adapt to a new lifestyle and so many things about myself. Traveling abroad is beneficial for your future career. Travel helps you develop important skills like adaptability, communication, and problem-solving, which are highly valued by employers. Studying abroad can help you build a network of contacts.
