Use the student ID number (w######) and temporary password we emailed to the address we have on file for
you to login to nscc.ca/mynscc. To protect your security and privacy, we recommended you change your password as soon as possible.
Nova Scotia students can apply for a provincial student loan. Visit novascotia.ca/studentassistance to apply, or call 1-800-565-8420 with questions.
Visit nscc.ca/awards and sign up to get matched for the scholarships, awards and bursaries you qualify for.
Secure your place in your program by making tuition arrangements by November 22. Make a payment at
nscc.ca/paytuition or by contacting your campus Business Office.

Waiting on student assistance, government funding or student loans? Just make sure to notify us before the deadline to secure your seat.
Getting your certifications is mandatory for every student in any program. Complete these mandatory courses before January 30. Watch your NSCC email for instructions on how to take these courses.
Brightspace is our online learning platform. It’s a great place to connect with your instructors and classmates.
You’ll be able to access course materials, assignments, learning tools, tests and grades. Explore how to use the platform before your September start at nscc.ca/brightspace.

Our webinars are designed to help you prepare for college. Find the webinar that's right for you and register.
NSCC offers two health benefits programs to support student wellness. Our health and dental plan include
students enrolled in full-time and customized programs that are 20 weeks or longer. Our myvirtualdoctor virtual
health care service supports full and part time students enrolled in programs 15 weeks or longer, providing
access to non-emergency access to health practitioners.
Visit mystudentplan.ca for additional information on these programs and to find out more about how to opt out
if required. Deadline to submit opt outs for one or both programs is February 5.
If you're a student experiencing disability-related barriers in the learning environment, connect with Accessibility Services to explore supports that may assist you. Many supports take time to plan and arrange, so reaching out early is important.
