Marine Emergency Duties Advanced Fire Fighting (MED AFF) This course provides Junior Ship’s Officers with the knowledge and skills to safely and efficiently carry out the duties associated with the inspection and maintenance of safety equipment and the control of an emergency team during a marine emergency. Marine Advanced First Aid (MAFA) This course provides learners with the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize an emergency and apply immediate advanced first aid in the event of an accident or illness on board. |

Marine Basic First Aid (MBFA) This course provides learners with the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize an emergency, provide appropriate first aid at the scene, notify emergency medical services and promote a safety oriented life style for the prevention of accidents. |

Marine Emergency Duties Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats other than Fast Rescue Crafts (MED PSC) This course provides the minimum training requirement for masters and crew on small non-pleasure (commercial) vessels. Learn how to safely respond to emergencies in a marine environment including survival techniques, raising alarms, aiding in fire situations and rescue procedures. |

Marine Emergency Duties Domestic Vessel Safety (MED DVS) This course is designed to provide first time seafarers with the minimum knowledge of emergency response required to safely work aboard a vessel; to determine the hazards associated with the marine environment and their own vessel, and of how to prevent shipboard incidents including fire. |

Marine Emergency Fast Rescue Craft (MED FRC) This course provides participants with hands on training in launch preparation, handling and recovery procedures in various conditions, pacing and towing other craft, search and rescue patterns, capsize and righting techniques. |

Free Fall Lifeboat (FFB) This course provides training to undertake the tasks, duties, and responsibilities related to launching and recovering free fall lifeboats and taking charge of the survival craft during an emergency as per the requirements of STCW Code Section B-I/14. |
