NSCC and Lysol supporting health and safety across our communities

Lysol has partnered with the College to provide $376,000 worth of Lysol sanitizing wipes to distribute to community groups throughout the province. The generosity of the donation was not only felt at the College. NSCC, with the permission of the donor, paid it forward and worked with the Truro and Ivany Campuses to distribute the in-demand sanitizing wipes to community organizations such as: YMCA, United Way and the John Howard Society.
A total of 80 pallets of Lysol wipes were distributed across the province through the YMCA and United Way. “We were happy to be able to collaborate with great community partners like the YMCA and United Way to distribute these Lysol wipes to communities in need,” says Michelle Bussey, Executive Director, NSCC Foundation & Alumni Relations. “We’re so thankful for the generosity of donors like Lysol who make these opportunities possible.”
