Honda donation to enrich automotive programming at NSCC
Supporting hands-on learning
Giving a gift-in-kind is one of the many unique ways that donors show their support for NSCC students. What makes gifts-in-kind unique is that donors can provide necessary equipment and items that help enhance programming and student learning at the College. This Spring, Honda generously donated nine vehicles from their fleet to support automotive programs at NSCC - a gift valued at $128,000!
The vehicles will directly impact student learning at NSCC as the vehicles are a much-needed component of the hands-on learning in the College’s automotive programs. “We were happy to collaborate with Honda to accept this generous gift-in-kind and give students brand new vehicles to practice their skills on,” says Michelle Bussey, Executive Director, NSCC Foundation & Alumni Relations. “We’re thankful for donors like Honda.”
“Honda Canada and the Training Department are happy to make a positive contribution on the college and its students. We hope that by enabling the college, together we empower students and propel them to career success and professional achievements. We look forward to collaborating with NSCC for years to come.” - Honda Canada
