Win a tuition bursary
When you apply to NSCC after attending Open House (see steps above), you’re automatically entered to win a tuition bursary toward one year of your NSCC education.
- Four winners will be randomly drawn on Friday, November 29.
- All winners will be contacted directly by NSCC by Monday, December 2 to confirm.
Conditions and details
- Entries for this draw are only accepted following the Apply for free steps noted above after attending an NSCC Open House event. One entry per person, per application. Separate entries are not offered.
- Winners receive a tuition bursary valued at $3,620 CAD, equivalent to regular, full-time domestic tuition for diploma, certificate and advanced diploma programs.
- Once confirmed, the bursary is applied directly to the winner’s NSCC student account (this account is created while applying to NSCC online).
- The bursary must be fully used in either the 2024/25, 2025/26 or 2026/27 academic years.
- If the winner is not able to accept the bursary for any reason during that period, the funds will then be transferred back to the sponsor.
- Winners are responsible for any remaining balances that may include but are not limited to program costs and student fees. Learn about tuition, fees and costs
- Some NSCC programs are not offered at regular tuition (more than $3,620). Winners attending one of those programs will be responsible for paying the remaining balance after the bursary is applied to their student account.
- Winners attending programs offered at less than regular tuition (less than $3,620) may use any remaining balance of the bursary toward applicable program costs and fees, or any other fees owed to NSCC. Or, the remaining balance can be carried over to the following year of study.
