I was extremely lucky to be able to travel to Tanzania for a second time for another amazing experience! Being there for a second time, I was less overwhelmed with taking everything in quickly and felt that it was more of a homecoming of sorts, as I was reunited with familiar friends and places. Returning to work with colleagues from last year made the project all that more meaningful as we reconnected and shared experiences we had since we last were together, deepening the relationships we had ignited. As a result of my amazing experience last year in Tanzania, I have a renewed commitment to global engagement and exploring the interconnectedness of our world. I have been accepted for a Leave for Change, and leave for Malawi, Africa in just a few short weeks! I am beyond excited to discover and experience other countries and share the experience of collaboration.
