Hi everyone! I’d like to say thank you to all that allowed this trip to happen, it was an incredible and unique experience. Although I’m not a business student, and I may not be fully immersed in the business and tourism schooling, that did not hold back my experience in any way. As a social service student I was able to bring back insight on how to collaborate and understand others from different cultures. This is HUGE in the field I am in and as well as business! My favourite part of the whole trip was the safaris of course, but the school aspect of the trip was second to none. Learning what the Tanzanians and other Canadian students and staff have to teach, share and discuss was amazing, what you learn from the people there is something you won’t get anywhere else. My fellow Canadian teachers and students were learning with me but also teaching me important things about culture and travel experiences they’ve had themselves which opened my eyes again! There are no words to describe how much you actually retain and understand about others and yourself until you have an experience like this. Once again thank you to all involved. I hope one day we'll cross paths again :)
