Brittany Bowden's Story
My learning experience in Saint Kitts and Nevis has been nothing short of transformative. I have learned so much about myself during this trip and what I am capable of. The highlight had to be when my group did our presentation for the Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College, showcasing pieces of our African Nova Scotian heritage. I am deathly afraid of presentations, but I knew this one was so important, and having the support of my team helped me get through it! I met wonderful people and inspiring business professionals, my confidence has grown, and I have become more adaptable.
The most important lesson for me that I have learned while on this trip is that I am capable of hard things! I am now more willing to try something new and dive into unfamiliar, challenging experiences. I'd like to express my deepest gratitude to NSCC International and Zoran Kondali for this opportunity of a lifetime, and to our employee leads on this trip, Barbara Roberts and Courtney Oliver, for their unwavering support and guidance.
