Start-Up Programs for Entrepreneurs
If you graduated from 2017 to 2021 and have the desire to start or grow a business, apply for start-up funding through NSCC’s Entrepreneur-in-the-Making Program. If selected, you could receive one-time funding up to a maximum of $3,000. Learn more about the Entrepreneur-in-the-Making Program. Applications open on February 17, 2022.
NSCC also offers a 30-week entrepreneurial program for NSCC graduates who want to start and manage their own business. Learn more about the Start-Up Accelerator program.

Funding to Hire Recent Graduates
Did you know that if you hire a recent NSCC graduate the Government of Nova Scotia could cover a portion of their salary?
Graduate to Opportunity is a program that aims to build a stronger workforce and retain young people in Nova Scotia. To find out if your business qualifies for this subsidy visit the Graduate to Opportunity website.
