Monthly eNews: April 2023
April Updates
April is a beautiful time to admire the spring colours emerging around us. In this issue, check out learning resources, ways to get involved with your NSCC community and grad businesses that have the perfect cards for Mother’s Day. We also recognize Earth Day this month.
Celebrate Earth Day by revisiting the land and garden episode from our 25-Minute Learning Series. Learn from alumni and faculty who share Mi'kmaw insights on nature, sustainability and protecting the environment, and show you how to create and maintain healthy outdoor flower arrangements. Watch the video on our YouTube.
Spark Creativity is happening in Halifax from 7-11 pm on May 26. This event is a showcase of student and alumni talent from NSCC’s School of Business and Creative Industries and includes musical performances by Neon Dreams (Adrian Morris, Music Arts '14) and Good Dear Good (Tim Hatcher, Brandon MacDonald, Izra Fitch and Connor Booth all from Music Arts '17-18). Net proceeds from the event support the Spark Creativity Bursary Fund. Learn more and get your tickets.
