Host/Busser/Food and Beverages Services

About the Position

• Greet guests at door with a smile
• Seat guests
• Assign tables to reservations on sheet
• Manage rotation through each section of the restaurant
• Post daily special on chalkboard
• Check for garbage on outside ramp/staircase and clean bench
• Fill buckets for table cleaning
• Set up rooms and tables for reservations
• Create waitlist with name and phone # if restaurant is full
• Communicate with kitchen during busy times
• Ensure bread basket, water jugs and ice buckets are filled
• Bus and clean tables
• Remove clean dishes from dish pit and store
• Check washrooms mid-shift
• Assist with services in take out train and event tent when needed    

Qualifications

 Qualities we are looking for:  

• Ability to provide excellent customer service to all diners
• Ability to be on your feet and do physical work for long periods of time
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Ability to work under stress in a fast-paced environment
• The willingness to work long hours, weekends and holidays
• People with a positive attitude who are helpful and encouraging to their colleagues
