The bright front lobby of the student housing has made substantial progress this month.

The 100-bed, 48,000 sq ft. student housing facility at Akerley Campus will open in September 2024. As construction crews continue to bring the suites and amenities together inside, here’s a look at the latest progress happening on-site.

The latest progress:

  • Fiber optic cable is installed to allow computer network to be commissioned

  • All suites are now furnished

  • Lounges, hallways and wayfinding interior signage are complete

  • Rooftop solar is operational

  • Elevators are awaiting fire panel commissioning to be put into service

  • Bike racks are installed by the front entrance

  • Landscaping is underway.
